 HIROSHI YATSUO Lab.

ABOUT :

Hiroshi Yatsuo Laboratory started in 2008. Our purpose is to create new design method which harmonizes architecture with environment, in the phase of research and practice of Architectural Design, Urban Planning, and Region Planning.

Professor Yatsuo is an architect, and he has designed various types of architecture, as houses, collective housings, public buildings, factories, hotels, shops, etc. In parallel with such architectural practices, he has continuously researched urban spaces, landscapes, urban housings. In recent years, we're researching the district called "Ger Area", which has expanded in Ulaanbaatar, capital city of Mongolia, without urban planning in 20th-21st century. Our aim is to improve houses and living environment of the "Ger Area" with our ideas of house planning and urban design. And In Atsugi City, we has held many workshops related to community development and contribute to the development of local cities.

We will actively engage in various aspects related to architecture, town planning, landscapes, both in exploration and practical creative activities.
